J and I broke up today, after another week of games and me feeling second-rate. Following last week, when he didn't call me, we did catch up Monday week ago and all seemed okay, except for the fact that he forgot Darcy and I were coming up to his place for dinner. Although my life has become much busier again in the past couple of weeks, I am feeling very fulfilled and happy. Firstly, the temp assignment at Memorial Hospital is going very well. I have been attending Uni for two weeks now and I have mixed emotions so far. On the whole, I am enjoying it and being challenged by it. But I am also a bit daunted and a tad confused about some things. Just thought that I would proudly post that I have now lost 3.6 kilograms in the 12 weeks I have been with WW. I have only had one gain in the whole 12 weeks, all other weeks I have been steadily losing.

I am happy, and I am proud.

Tomorrow is my first "real" day of Uni and I'm a little scared! The main subjects which scare me are drawing and construction. We have to build and draw things and I guess self doubt is starting to creep in. Can I do this, What do I think I am doing, Art was never your forte...you know, that sort of self talk! I have to report that today was fantastic, fun and interesting. I was very nervous this morning on my way into the city, so much so that I was counting my breaths in an effort to calm myself. I had a very expensive flat tyre on Thursday. I had to get the whole tyre replaced as well as the other front tyre as it is illegal to have odd tyres on the front of the car. Not happy Jan ( Read more... )
