i think being a pessimist means expecting the worst to happen despite any other indications.

i am a pessimist through and through. granted. i accept this.

i don't think it's a bad thing. i expect bad things to happen so when good things happen, i'm pleasantly surprised. the system works for me. personally, i think i'm being a realist. others
