Power Bill (x3): $220
Rent : $235
Speeding ticket: $200

paycheck...probably won't cover it. Looks like I'm not getting out of my financial hole just yet.

Contest the speeding ticket. Even if you just show up later and say you've changed your mind and are guilty, it buys you some time. Also, just for showing up and explaining your side of what happened, they sometimes reduce the base fine a little. Either way, you're no worse off than if you hadn't.

Sometimes they let you make payments on a ticket. Check to see if there's a surcharge on that.

...oh.

(trying to figure out what happens if you don't pay a ticket from some state where you don't live and they can't suspend your license and you're probably not going back. Probably not as bad as what happens if you don't pay the rent and utilities...maybe if someone asks, you can say it's civil disobedience against that racist immigration law. This is not legal advice.)

yeeeaaah.....
but, good news is that I actually CAN cover everything, and hopefully NEXT pay period I'll be able to start putting money away again :) yaya!

I appreciate the 'not legal advice' disclaimer :)

Oh well. so used to not having money, I'm not sure what i'd DO with it if I had it. probably drink it.
