While I am happy to find that both of my hands are still attached, I have no idea where I am, and why I’m so cold. People are screaming, and I see fires eveywhere. Smoke, too, and blood on the walls. There is a corpse missing it’s head sticking out of the ceiling. Smells like it’s been there for a few days, and looks like…something’

Nope, no war. Well, unless you count the war in Iraq. But that isn't here. Thats a long way from here. This was a monster, big fishy turtle looking thing. Stay away from the water by the way. Anyway, it totally wrecked the place. And the dead body probably met one of the monsters little pals.
