To boldly bold

So does anyone know the reason why certain names in the Friends and Friends Of sections of the Profile page get bolded and other don't? Is it people whose journal you've read recently? Commented on recently? Paid to have killed recently? I just don't get it. I can't figure out the rhyme nor the reason.

Mutual friends are bold. One-sided friend-ship is not.

Nope... I already thought of that, but it doesn't work. For instance, I just went to your Profile page, and the only three names in bold are actorwoof, gingerirish, and "naturegirl725. And yet most of your Friends are also Friends Of you.

So it can't be that.

Ah, I thought you meant when you looked at your friends-of list. My bad.

If you're looking at someone else's friends list, the bolded ones are the ones that are also on your friends list.
