"It seems people feel we are disrespecting our opponents by continuing to play hard for the full 60 minutes the game has been alloted. I myself am not really sure what constitutes a 'comfortable' lead, as in my years in football I've seen examples of teams coming back from 30+ point deficits to win. But since we don't want to seem disrespectful, perhaps our opponents can let us know at that point during the game when they feel our lead is insurmountable, at which time both teams can call it a day and we'll run off whatever's left on the clock. Otherwise, I'm going to assume that whatever our lead, our opponents will be trying their best to score against us, and if they're going to play hard to cut into our lead, we'll continue to play hard to build it. ... Pussies."
