I was looking through the WoWWiki website and saw again the name of a quest in the game that uses a word that most of us Geek Children of the '80s recognize. That world being 'samophlange'. I don't really consider any of the various dice identifiers as 'words' per se, because they are written and pronounced as they are... a letter-number combination. Yeah, 'THAC0' is usually written with a zero on the end, but it's pronounced as though it's the letter 'o'. It isn't 'THAC-Zero', it's 'thaco'.

Had the nomenclature changed so that 'd20' became known as a word on its own like 'deetwentee' (like we have for 'Artoo' or 'Threepio') then I'd give it to you. But for what I'm considering new words to be, they don't apply.
