xxbakacoconutxx and I went to the Tower Theater in Upper Darby, PA which translates technically to Philadelphia. I didn't get lost. I found parking right away. I got in, and THERE WERE SEATS. Which I thought I would absolutely hate, but found out I didn't. HERE'S WHY: We were maybe the fourth row away from the stage, not counting the small pit area in front. Pit area was maybe about two rows thick. Nice right? THEN THE OPENING BANDS CAME OUT.
The Architects were fucking amazing. I haven't heard really good punk rock performed live to an audience for a long time. HAVE A SNIPPET!

I don't know the song title yet, but I DID buy the CD from the singer and bassist outside of the venue. :3 I'll fix the title tomorrow when I get a chance.
Then Thursday came out. THURSDAY GUYS. I WAS SO GOD DAMN EXCITED!!! But no one stood up and danced to them? It was really weird. At one point Geoff made a comment about not being used to chairs and that we could sit if we wanted to. FUCK NO. I WAS BANGING MY HEAD ALL AROUND AND HAVING A RIDICULOUS TIME. So being the only enthusiastic people amongst at least five rows of people, I'm pretty sure he saw us. WHICH MADE ME HAPPY. Defect, how do know that? THOSE BITCHES SHOWERED MY GENERAL DIRECTION IN GUITAR PICKS. Seriously, SHOWERED. Two of them hit me square in the boobs, and one hit my eye. My sister got an orange on and I got the yellow one. :DDDD

Now then, they played the same set as Boston. Which, means that I forgot what exactly the set was, but that it was the same as Boston. They did Hang 'em High which is one of my all time favorite songs ever. SO HAPPY. I took a small video but I was jumping around. /o\ Here is the snippet I did take.

Ok, so my general feeling was that Gerard either REALLY connects with his crowd, or that bitch could see me. Which I usually don't like talking about, but seriously, intense. The first couple of rows got wristbands to move up into the pit, but the cutoff was my row. So there was three rows of emptiness in front of me, and we were center stage.Very VERY cool for a venue that had seats.
OH! I took out my tickets, because they were printed from the internet and asked the security guard for a permanent marker. I hastily scribbled DEWEES on them and held it up right before they went into Mama. RAY GOT THIS FACE OF SHEER HAPPINESS. THE MAN CAN POWER HIS ENTIRE SET UP WITH THAT SMILE. It was actually pretty funny, because I seriously love James alot. Before they started up again, they all ran over to that side mic they use to talk into the ear monitors, and I still had my sign up. Gerard pointed at it and made wild "I don't know" shrugging gesticulations at it. IT WAS AWESOME. :D JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!
I'm just glad that band loves him as much as I do.
I almost busted out hysterically crying during Famous Last Words. Just saying because I've never felt that way before. It was weird.
Then I went out and bought The Architects CD from The Architects (how adorable) and got lost trying to get out of Darby. Went to Wawa, got a Gatorade and drove home. THE END!
Until the next night in Sayreville!
That story comes tomorrow though, because the laptop has almost burned a hole into my lap because the fan broke. Also, Frank the fucking livejournal goat won't let me post pictures. I'll do it tomorrow. :DDDDDDDDDDDD GOOD NIGHT!
