I bought a dress for the wedding. Since Joy said it wasn't very formal, I didn't get a very formal dress. Now I just need shoes and a purse to match. When did I become a girl?
The bottom (just above the knees down) is actually see-through, you just can't tell in this picture because of the stuff behind it.
Also: this dress was NINE DOLLARS.
And then I went to JC Penney to see if I could find something better... their dress selection sucked (like, one rack total) but I did get a cute purse that was on sale.
And you know you love my purple Disney Princess Christmas tree.
And I got three more pairs of underwear (in addition to the three pairs I bought this weekend), but I didn't take pictures of those because... uh, yeah. Just know that they're cute.
I'm going to the Holyoke mall after class to see if the store there has the dress I really wanted (they only had it in a small and medium here... the medium fit but a large would've been better I think). Not for the wedding (it's white, only the bride's supposed to wear white to the wedding), just... it was so pretty and I want it! Again, I don't know when I turned into a girl. But then again, even growing up I was the biggest tomboy (my favorite toys were the Tonka trucks...) but I always wore skirts and dresses. So yeah.
Question: do we have to get Joy a wedding gift? It probably says something of my maturity level that I was thinking the traditional gifts (blenders, toasters, other such household appliances) and I was all excited at the thought of getting her the Hello Kitty sandwich maker. Haha. It's a good thing she's getting married and not me.
Although, I have to tell my mom that if I ever do get married, I fully expect a Barbie Bride doll. Actually, I probably don't have to tell her, she'll get me one anyway (she got me a graduation one for high school...). It's a tradition with us. Yeah, I love Tonka trucks, and Barbies. And for my birthday (in a month!), I want the Happy Birthday Barbie just so I can wear the crown that goes with it. (This is also a result of me working toys the past few weeks...)
Hi, I'm seven years old. Fully in denial that one of my high school friends is getting married.
