Hey. Is your icon Hieronymus Bosch? I like it. And did you know that 60% or more of the homeless may be Schizophrenic, or have some other severe mental illness that makes it difficult for them to function normally in society? Go, psych 101. That's why it's upsetting to me when people say they shouldn't have to help the homeless. And I know what it's like to get dragged into lj debates. You know you shouldn't add to all the pointless blather, but people can be such assholes (or hats, as the case may be) that you can't help it.

Unfortunately, on LiveJournal (and the internet as a whole for that matter), you run into as many, if not more, jackasses than in real life. There is no escaping it. Especially because when you can't punch someone in the face, they think it's auto-permission to be extra-jackass.
