So I'm allowed to say bitch, bastard, ass, asshole, asswhipe, and any other unmentioned words? Why did you never say I was allowed to use these? I thought cursing altogether was terrible and should be punished with expellment on the Hogwart's computer system...?
(And does bullshit count as a full word by itself or should it be broken down? Same with Motherfucker... Are we allowed to say mofo?)
this is not the dictatorship that is getting out of hand that you make it out to be. Heaven forbid we ask that you follow school policy when completing an assesment task.
This is not a censorship of thoughts. You're welcome to tell the world that you don't like Terry, but we do wish that you'd choose your words more carefully. I know that you can be more eloquent than that, or at least I hope that you can.
If you want to get technical, it could be censorship of thoughts. When you're writing in your journal (and yes, despite the fact that it's for the school, it's still a personal journal), you're thinking what you'd like to say. You think the words before they're written, and if you think the word 'fuck', because it fits your emotions -- your thoughts -- on whomever, whatever situation, and you're not allowed to type it, you're censoring what can and cannot be written.
Really, if you make an exception for the words you deem inappropriate for whatever reason, you'll eventually have to make exceptions for words and things others find inappropriate as well. While one person might find 'fuck' offense, someone else might find another word offense, and ask for that to be removed as well.

And yes, you can say "Darn Pooheads" and "bitchy" just not "shit" "Fuck" or "cunt".
We're only banning THREE words. Get a grip.
