Some of you may know that I used to have another daughter. When I first met Fiona, she had a 2 1/2 year old little girl that after a while took to calling me Brian-Daddy then just Daddy. It was that way for 10 years. She hasn't really spoken to me in a few years. I still think of her often and I often hope that someday she will come around

I'd say reach out. Don't push, just offer. Maybe Autumn's revelation and the rediscovery of that song are a message. Maybe they're just coincidence. But don't ever give up.

Just let her know that you still think about her, and that she is still in your heart, and that's enough, see what move she makes. It could the tiniest thing, but atch for it. Then give a little more. and wait, I know you know this, it's how trust is made. And trust is a very powerful thing.
