W-what is the point of having them on the outside? My ears don't stick out like this and I can hear perfectly well!

I would if I could. But I would rather ask the Captain of the ship why he thought it would be such a good idea to do this. Fleshlings are insane, and I would enjoy it if I were given the opportunity to make him pay for this!
