Totally with you about noisy upstairs neighbors! I mean, they HAVE to realize there are people below their feet, right?? So glad I don't have to deal with that crap anymore (end unit townhouse, yayyyy!).

I KNOW. And it's not like I expect people to not walk around their apartment, but maybe not do it ALL NIGHT, EVERY NIGHT, EH?!

I am totally looking for a duplex or a side by side apartment complex sort of thing. Anything that is one story and has no one above or below!!! But especially no one above!

If it has more than two units, END UNIT END UNIT END UNIT. Seriously. It's the best thing ever. If it's an end unit, hopefully they did the smart thing and made the bathroom/kitchen/NOT bedroom on the shared wall side. And pray that there's brick between units, not drywall. Oooh, and look for families and old people, 'cause they have normal sleeping hours. If there are a lot of cars in the parking lot during the day, that's a bad sign.
