yup, true. evolutionarily speaking, monogamous relationships only need to last long enough to reproduce. And since most species that are monogamous (or in general) die before or just after reproduction age, that's where the problem is.

Bio can depress you. Unless you just look at how cool something like a chemical inbalance can be something that defines our lives. Then you rock.

Oooh, another cool thing is that people in most cases fall in love with people of a different immune system, which they sense through smell subconsiously. super cool.

Biopsych is soooooooooooo very cool, especially when you think about it from a purely scientific standpoint. also, for me anyway, when i learn something like that i incorperate it into my knowledge of what i'm doing so i can stick it to the man. and by the man, i mean biological evolution.
