I really enjoyed MEMOIRS OF A GEISHA, although I was a bit annoyed at first by the Panasianism (three key roles being played by Chinese actresses rather than Japanese), but it still rocked- especially the chain-smoking Mamasan!

haha yea she was actually one of the harder ones to understand. I think they did an awesome job with the two main girls (age wise) they looked so alike..kinda seemed like they have found an older and younger set of sisters hehe :)

I could understand them fairly easily...actually, another of my minor quibbles was that it really should've been in Japanese w/ subtitles. But I still thought it was ace...

yeah i think if it wasnt in english it wouldnt sell as well as it did. :) but yes its still ace ;)
