Holy crap! Congratulations!!!! That is spectacular and very well deserved! If your book is anything like your fanfiction, you'll be a bestseller in no time. So, how does this publishing thing work? Do you make the changes and send the book on it's way to the masses or does it take time?
And you WILL be continuing ongoing DC series', right? I've already given up hope for the Pavement Cracks universe (that thing was it's own novel ^^), but there are a lot of other fics in progress that you have. You're one of the most prolific fanfic writers out there. If you give up, I'll have 50% less fics to read ;)
Also, will you be posting your book info to your LJ?

Thank you! I'm getting a Christmas-themed short story published. I think it'll be ready for this upcoming December. As soon as I get my contract signed and back to them, I'm going to start working with an editor. They gave me a list of things they want me to change, and I'm totally down with it. I saw all those problems in my draft after the deadline was up anyway. Thanks for the faith in me! I'm working on a vampire themed submission for them too, and if I have a good experience with these short stories, I might pitch them a book

Please let me know when you find out how your distribution will be. I'd love to read your story ^^ I'm so excited for you to get out there, but apprehensive that once the public finds out how awesome you are, they'll steal you away XD
