“Comfortable?” Bill’s worried voice tickles the shell of my ear.
“Yes,” I try not to sound annoyed. I don’t want to hurt his feelings, but I’m not used to this sort of attentiveness from a lover.
“I can make more room -“
I cut him off by tugging his retreating arm back towards me.
“No,” I say firmly. “I want to feel you.” I give his arm a squeeze and soften my tone.
Bill rumbles happily and kisses my neck. Finally, I feel him settle down.
“Let me know if that changes…”
He restrains my arms before I get the chance to smack him.
