Oh, I love this! So much beautiful angst and concern for Rusty. And then the way they talk about it at dinner. You brought out momma bear!Raydor, which always makes me happy - target practice indeed.

I love that Sharon and Andrea talk through their frustrations in the moment. It keeps the argument from escalating and helps them both get on the same page. Everyone had their hearts in the right place - Rusty included. Of course he would want his foster mothers not to worry, but that's impossible when they're both in protective mode. :)

The ending is so sweet. Andrea soothing Sharon to sleep is so adorable and loving and kind. The grocery discussion is really cute too. Oh, my heart. <3

I am so glad that you enjoyed this. I definitely could imagine Andrea and Sharon having an argument about Rusty's safety, I totally get the sense that they are ultra protective of their loved ones. Seconded on the grocery discussion. However, without a more sensible second party, I kind of have two coffee machines and six types of coffee, plus the coffee machine I use at work and the coffee that I didn't bring in there. Andrea can come have coffee with me any time!

I also have two espresso/cappuccino machines, a Tassimo, and a regular coffee maker. Hobbs can split her time between your place and mine. ;)

A little late with my comment, but still I wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed this fic! It was very in character and something that could have come straight from the show. Their interactions are wonderful and just perfect.
