So happy! Rusty has a job, is driving, and blossoming so much post-trial. (You know this makes me very very happy. :P). And I can just see the three of them forming the most wonderful little family. And Rusty's knowledge/understanding that he truly is one of Sharon's children, yeah, that's just so happy-making.

And the first official date. OMGs! So exciting, and they're ready. And Sequel please.

We wanted to challenge ourselves with this one by starting the fic out in an unhappy place, working through the conflict as the fic progressed, and concluding with a hopeful new start for everyone involved.
