I love hurt / comfort fics and this one is no exception. Such wonderful rapport here. Andrea and Sharon empower and support one another in so many ways -- big and small.

Home indeed.

Ahhhh! I am murmuring indistinguishable words and phrases. Multiple times, while reading, I giggled and gurgled aloud (can't think of another word to describe the sound).

This is so amazing in so many parts.

I want to go through and call out each turn of phrase or well captured sentiment that I loved, but suffice it to say that this is one of my absolute favorite Hobbs/Raydor fics ever.

Really beautifully crafted and well done.

I still love the borrowed glasses bit; that kills me!

Thank you for sharing!

Can I just say how much I adore this - all the emotionally nuances and tension and tangible love present throughout this. But going beyond that - that conversation they have during and after the bathroom scene and Andrea’s discovery: it’s wonderfully pitched.

They obviously care deeply for one another, but most of all - they deeply respect each other and are very well tuned in to each other’s thoughts and feelings and try to take care of each other in that manner as well while respecting each other's sense of dignity/personhood/self/power/worth. What struck me about this in the perspective of what may sometimes be classified as a “hurt/comfort” fic is how well it really encompasses that concept between the both of them well beyond the physical wound itself, but also the emotional ill-effects that they each, by themselves, and them both, together, have to deal with.

AND ALL THE SMALL DETAILS! *grabby hands* Just… brava!

Thank you so much! I really love writing these kinds of emotionally confrontational scenes with them, and writing their reactions and how they resolve things.

Thanks for reading, I am thrilled that you liked it! :)
