I know that you have realized that you made a mistake by illustrating your opinion here, but I think what is the most hurtful part to everyone, is your opinion in and of itself.

Everything said, you have a right to your opinion, whether I believe it's right or wrong. But now that you have a new angle of which to look at this issue, please do so, you may learn something or help others better understand where you're coming from.

Van put it very well. You appologized for the way you said what you said and you explained that you worded it rudely but the way you worded it wasn't what bothered me. What bothered me is that you think of someone who chooses an abortion as not a strong person. The part that hurts me is that you think of women who have had an abortion the way you do, not the words you used to describe it (though those were bad enough and I still can't get over "punked out").
Like Van also said, you have a right to your opinion, but do try to look at other points of view on the subject, and question yours and where they came from. I can assure you its something that anyone who has ever had an abortion or thought of it as an option, has done and until you do it you truly have no right to speak on the subject. At least not where I will hear or read it.

Yeah, the illustrations were bad, but in my opinion, they weren't anywhere near as offensive as the attitude about women who have abortions. Its one thing to think abortion is murder and relate the process to killing, but it is another thing to completely blame the woman, assume she is weak, unstable, and punking out.
