My dad has cancer.

I would make this an entry where people can't comment, because I don't want you to think I'm looking for sympathy. But I don't know how.

My mom had cancer many years ago, it's treatable, unlike many types were a long time ago. Chemotherapy is immensely painful, but it works.

Find out what you can, to ease your mind. Cancer definitely doesn't mean "untreatable" these days.

oh my god. are you okay? it's probably pointless to say anything cos it's all just gonna seem lame and surface level artificial in the face of something so immense. i just hope you're okay and that it's at a stage where it's treatable. *hugs* take care dude. xxx
