In an episode in S1 Spinner shoots a spitball at Manny, and as revenge she pretends to cry. When he leaves, Manny says "I knew it would work, always does on my brother." Manny's brother is never mentioned again, though! Just something I thought was interesting ( Read more... )

First off Manny's brother could be seen in the future-- you never know. He could have been out of the house living on his own by then or could have been on his own before the family was shown in Season 5. Remember before then we only got to see Manny's mom in season 3. They seem to treat her like a only child but maybe its because she's the youngest and only girl.

As for the noise ring that was Cassie Steele's and I guess the writers saw no need to have her remove it during shooting. Maybe after Manny was in that Jay and Silent Bob movie making all that money her parents believed she'd shown some discipline and let her get the piercing.

What bothers me about that though is that not only does Manny have her nosed pierced, in season five she has like a GAZILLION piercings on her ears. Wtf? they'd never let her do that.
