Comic Strip Conspiracy

I have long been convinced that comic strip artists must communicate in some way (email, bar chats, forum, ...) and occasionally share ideas for a comic strip or give each other challenges. Two of yesterday's comic strips appear to provide support for my theory. There is no way it could be a coincidence that these two comic strip artists
