I love everything about this. From Dean and Sam leaving Cas to Cas slowly becoming his own person and Dean's guilt and jealousy and the friendship between Cas and Bobby. All the hearts.

I really enjoyed your story -- it was definitely an emotional rollercoaster.

I think what I like best about it though, is the way Castiel evolved over the course of the story. It was very heart-wrenching to see him grow from the angel he used to be to the capable hunter he became by the end of chapter 3.

Oh. My. Castiel. The first chapter had me in TEARS! Just imagining Castiel wasting away in that pitiful apartment broke my heart. When Cas thinks how his time as a human is interminable when it isn't even a blink compared to his angelic existence, I could feel the weight of his despair
