You are totally charged with bringing me a Publix sub when you coe to visit. Which is going to be soon, yes? YES???

And for the thirteenth time, WTF is your new address? You get no presents if I can't mail them anywhere. You're only hurting yourself. I'll even make it easy for you: mel21clc at yahoo dot commmmm. Mmmm. Go.

I will absolutely bring you a Publix sub. You're going to need to provide me with an order though, ma'am.

And I totally suck. How many times have you heard that from me? I'm sending my address now. :)

  • Yay for your shimmy walk! It sounds like you're enjoying yourself.
  • Hoo-rah! for your community involvement!
  • Come cook for me, cause I'm a miserable cook.
  • I know nothing about wetsuits.
  • Me Talk Pretty One Day is one of my favorites, but you should DEFINATELY check out both Naked and Holidays On Ice if you liked that one. And you should look into a short story called Repeat After Me that's my favorite one. Ok that and there's one called Six to Eight Black Men. You can google the last two. (Hi, can you tell I'm a David Sedaris fan?)

As to your Publix sub....they rock.

It sounds like you're happy and healthy, and this makes me happy :)

:) Aw, Austen, I'd love to come cook for you sometime! You'll have to tell me what you like to eat these days, though. And I am definitely reading more David Sedaris. I enjoyed his book more than I liked Dave Eggers' A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius, which surprised me.

Thanks for the kudos - I'm pretty happy here, despite some social setbacks. All things in due course though, right? Speaking of which, you seem like you're doing pretty darn well yourself these days. Congrats on all your success! How are you feeling about your life these days?

I'm feeling very stressed, but good none the less. I never realized that the success part of things would be as time consuming and stressful as it is. And it's funny because there's sooooo much hard work involved. But at the end of the day it's all worth it cause I LOVE what I do and I'm finally supporting myself on it. So I'm happy even if I am running around like a chicken with my head cut off.

Hmmm, when I was wetsuiting I had to try on tons b/c they size them weird by different brands. Also, they're supposed to be snug and fairly hard to get on, so I say just devote an hour or so to trying on what's in the store. Also, you could see what your local dive shop has for rental and get an idea of a good size/brand there too.

The only brand they had at sports authority was bodyglove, and that definitely wasn't working for me. Did you find that the sizes had anything to do with your pants size? The ones that matched my pants size looked like they should fit, but we definitely had problems making it past my thighs. When I started trying on just tops, it got even more frustrating - those that fit snug around my waist were too loose around my less-than-generous chest. Grrrr!

So you are not reading Vonegut anyomore?

Publix subs are the best (on wheat only).

I like that you are dancing. Have you ever heard The Dancing Nancies? The song struck me the other day.

Sounds like your Home is becoming a Home.

Hey, I haven't heard from you in a while...Happy New Year!
