Dude, Choose Your Own Adventure is the shiz. Although, I totally cheated on them. I think everybody cool did.
And it's not that people didn't like it, I just don't think their squee equaled what it felt like to Melissa to lose like 2 years worth of hair.
As to why you don't know she cut it, I have no idea. Read her journal. Go.

hehe and here i was thinking i cheated because i was too lame to accept whatever horrible fate i was trying to avoid ("the gyspsies take your money and leave you dead in a ditch. turn back to page 32 and start again. better luck next time.").

and man am i a bad friend for not catching her haircut entry sooner. i hope she never reads this and sees how neglectful i am. i mean, i'm guessing she hasn't suspected yet, even though her xmas gift is still sitting in my living room.....

I wish I was a rat! Rat's are very versatile. They survive on what they have/need, not what they want. Hampsters are almost always pets, and they take what they have for granted. They are given elaborate homes that entail mazes and wheels for excercise. Much like human apartments with a tread mill. They even get take-out every night. Rats on the other hand, have to find their food and work for it. AND, Hampsters are cannibles: They eat their own young. In a world of Hampsters, it sure is nice to be a rat!
