Am I the only one thinking it would be utterly appropriate and hilarious to discover several of these children somewhere down the line announcing to their parents that they're genderqueer and undergoing sex-reassignment surgery?

Seriously, deciding who your kid is for him or her is ridiculous for exactly this reason. It's like parents who buy ten tons of football gear for their kid when he can barely walk: they're just asking for him to take up ballet.

And: how oddly vague a way to talk about abortion or tubal ligation (I can't tell which for sure).
