[Vergil seems to have lost his coat, but otherwise looks in good condition, if not happy]

It is interesting the commander of this 'rescue' spacecraft does not seem to be overly concerned whether our population kills each other over a chance at a seat on this outgoing vessel. I also note there is no word of whether an effort will be made to return ( Read more... )

I'm being careful, but you be careful, too, Vergil. I threw a rock into one of those holes... it didn't come back, it's just gone. Something is very wrong here, and I don't know what, but I don't like it.

I know. They're voids---people have lost fingers and hands to them. It seems this place is disintegrating rapidly.

Frankly I'm surprised violence on a large scale hasn't erupted yet, with only a dozen seats on this departing craft.
