So, I gave in to temptation and just started rereading the entire series... I'm now at the third book, Eclipse, and Bella is still torn between her friendship with Jacob and her love for Edward, what with the whole werewolves-and-vampires-are-mortal-enemies thing.

Yeah, I see your point. He is very happy most of the time.
But I've had the *Edward* dream so often, that I have made up my mind! (Better keep me away from Jacob. Last night I dreamed that I chased him with a cricket bat. When I woke up, and yes I pretty much always remember my dreams for at least a day after I've had them, I thought: Yikes! Did I actually dream that? I'd never do that! So yeah. I know which side my bread is buttered on...the pale side. To give it some colour! Hahahahaha!

WHY on earth are you chasing Jacob with a cricket bat???!
I'm probably committing blasphemy here, but Taylor Lautner just isn't doing it for me. He looks too boyish (I guess he is only 15 in Twilight, and hasn't grown into his werewolf thing yet). But the Jacob I'm in love with is the 6 foot 7 tall rugby player!! Besides, I think Taylor looks really stupid with the wig - he reminds me of Elrond from Lord of the Rings! More blasphemy - I don't like the way they are handling Rob Pattison as Edward either. Half the time he looks way too emanciated, like he's starved to death, and the other time his colour is just wrong. Did you see the cover of the movie companion? He was GREEN! GREEN!!! *feels like strangling somebody*

As for why I was chasing him with a cricket bat...I think he might have said something mean about Edward...but still...a cricket bat??? I would have thought maybe a baseball bat. After all: it is the American sport most favoured by the Cullens. By America come to think of it.
