sometimes boys do ridiculously cute boy things. i'm staying at the farm this week (where i was living last year) watching all of the beasties. he came to stay with me last night (i didn't even have to twist his arm). his job was to make the fire in the bedroom. he did it 10x faster than i've been able to and with a lot less effort. haha

good job with the fire! making a fire is way harder than you think. Especially in a fireplace, you'd think it'd be pretty simple, since that's where it's supposed to go. but no. that's cool ben was a boyscout I have to say I read that and immediately thought I WONDER IF HE KNOWS JON MAYBE HE KNOWS THE SECRET HANDSHAKE AND ABOUT THE ORDER OF THE ARROW. apparently, I still think all boyscouts know each other. I mean, same state. they could have all gone to some giant convention together.
