I envy those of you with naturally athletic bodies. I really do. You only have, at best, a glimpse of an idea of how taxing it is to harass unwilling and unable muscles into thrashing about in a most unnatural way, like trying to coax a limp jellyfish into taking a stroll along the beachCan you tell that I worked out this morning ( Read more... )

i hate gyms. but i suppose they are a necessary evil. we should totally go hike the mountain this weekend! you up for it?

Oooh, lets. Hopefully Nature takes her Midol and spares me from an allergy attack, which occurs when I go hiking sometimes. But yeah, hiking sounds good. Chilling by the pool afterwards sounds even better. :-)

hey, nothing wrong with taking a hint from the universe that you're perfect just the way you are :) i long for a buxom, lara-croftish physique, but i have acquiesced to the fact that until i spend every free moment exercising and/or start taking some kind of hormone, it's not going to happen....

Ah, that's a nice way of looking at it. Always the optimist, Meg. ;-) Indeed, I've given up on the impossible...now I'm just hoping to keep my body healthy, at the very least. Although I'll never quite appreciate how this kind of self-abuse can be healthy.

yay for pounding away at the gym! This week has been so crazy I wish I had more time to go! I love the guys who try and impress, We get a bunch of middle aged men at the Y just sweating bullets trying to impress some of the women out there.

Heheh, poor guys. The efforts of middle aged men seem less pathetic than teenage boys though, for some reason.
