This headline made the football fan in me very happy this morning:

Doctors clear Bruschi's return

I kept saying that it was just a little stroke and he'd play this year!

They talked about it a little bit during the game yesterday. I know he's gotten multiple opinions, but gosh it worries me to see him come back so soon.

The only reason that I'm not horribly concerned is that they found the cause of the stroke (a small tear in the lining of his heart) and have repaired it.

If this were a case of an otherwise healthy athlete having a stroke for no discernable reason, I'd be worried about him coming back, but all of his doctors agree about exactly what happened and they've all cleared him to come back.
