Someone tell me what this sentence means.

"Womans arousal may also be linked to taking or stealing love or pregnancy substitutes, namely, in kleptomania."

I'll give you the context, even though it wont help, because it is from a book of nonsense by John Money called "man and woman, boy and girl," in a section called "psychosexual frailty of the ( Read more... )

Heh, honestly, with the context you provide, it sounds like he's absolutely flustered by women and rather than fault himself as lacking understanding, he wants there to be elaborate, psychosocial explanations for why women may be less perverse.

I dunno, whatever he is trying to do with that book, he should've gotten an editor with some grammar skills (which I say right before I go back and read everything I just wrote to make sure I didn't make grammar mistakes).

BTW, D, will you be graduating in the spring?

I'd like to. I still need to get the paperwork in for the cap and gown and stuff, and hopefully I can be excused from some of the rehearsals and other pre-ceremony meetings, since I need to work. All things working out, I should be able to walk with you all.

you could try borrowing a cap and gown from a friend who graduated last year, and save some money (thats what im doin). Im sure they'll excuse ou from the rehearsals, it doesnt seem terribly coomplicated to walk up and take your diploma when they call your name.

I can't make hide nor hair of this sentence.

If I absolutely had to guess, I'd say he's saying that women get turned on by stealing stuff.
