I always try to imagine how people see me, it's hard to epxlain but I think it's what you mean.
We have our own images of ourselves which aren't (most of the time) the same as the people have.
Sometimes I wish I could see me with my friends of enemies' eyes but it's maybe better to keep my own image ;)
