The models and the NHC track just shifted three hundred miles east. NHC is predicting a model consensus track, which means they have no real idea beyond taking averages of lines. (Neither do I; please understand I'm not saying they suck; I'm saying that nobody knows). However, the trend has been further and further east, in 150-300 mile chunks.
