No injury is glamorous. I still think that insurance for doctors needs to be less expensive. Even nurses have to get outrageous insurance. My mother has insurance and she isn't even practicing. Wearing your seatbelt is good.

I think wes was right, eye surgery is the one thing I could never stand to watch.

Secondly, yes, it costs a shitload. I had to go to the hospital three weeks ago for an infected finger. Thanks to my insurance, it only cost me 125 dollars with meds and all. About a week ago I got the reciepts, and if I didn't have insurance, that infection would've ended up costing me clost to 920 dollars. Insanity ... yes :)

I tell you what's expensive.....the ambulance ride!

For those of you that don't know, I was ambulanced to the ER a couple months ago.
I had an idea of what the emergency room stuff was going to cost. That didn't bother me.

But 700 dollars just because they had to take me by ambulance??? I know gas is expensive and all, but dang.....the hospital is only like a mile and a half away!

Is it bad that I don't feel nauseous looking at those photos, I only feel thankful that the body goes into shock/unconsciousness so you don't feel the worst of it?
