Me too! And it seems a bit more manageable than the gloves.

So you'll see soon if you either get gloves or the scarf ;)

Do you have a spectral image of me looking approvingly/disapprovingly at you when you make purchases? I've always secretly craved that kind of power over someone. ;-)

Don't worry. Ladies who knit and drink (either as a mixed activity or separate) will likely gain my approval as just a matter of course.

Yes, I have a spectral image of you looking over my shoulder. It shouted out in glee last Monday when I decided to go for a I.P.A. instead of my usual stout. ;)

Speaking of which, I did find out something that you may already know. Guinness does contain meat product. Robert's friend who's a vegan tried and tried to find out, but they are super secretive about their recipe, so he ended up 'faking' an allergy just to find out.

Drinking and knitting can be almost as dangerous as drinking and driving. But it's a ton of fun!

If this scarf pattern works out for the manos cotton yarn, I'll make you a scarf. It's one of the few cotton yarn's that I don't mind that much. That, and this little quote from the website;
"Manos was established with a very clear objective:
to give support to Uruguayan craftswomen acting
as a net of social promotion all along the country.
Its purpose was and is the economic, social and
cultural development of its members and the
environment in which they live. "
