Day 6: Doe (and a) deer, a female deer

Just as I was packing up to leave the office today, one of my developers was walking toward where I sit & in a sift voice said "Dawn, look." I turned around, and just outside the window was a young deer. Further down was the mother. Had there been no glass I could have reached out & touched them

Somebody turned off the motion-detector light in the front yard, so the other night I go outside to smoke, and I'm sitting in the dark on the tailgate of my truck, and one of the neighborhood foxes walks right up the driveway.

I love it when stuff like that happens.
