I'm back from Toronto... it was an excellent trip! On Tuesday afternoon I wandered about for a while before meeting Natassja at her work. In the process, I got an interview for the following day (Wednesday) at HMV. I stopped at Steve's Music and looked at some guitars but opted not to play any. Terry had Emma send out an email telling everyone that the company I'm sending my resume to on Wednesday is hiring... so now there's going to be so many more people applying there! Argh! Hopefully I will be up to the challenge?

In the space of less than 24 hours, my shift at work was cancelled, uncancelled, and moved to 10:30 am. What does that ultimately mean? I'm done work at 7 and not a moment too soon.

Fuck!!! Now I have to shave!!!

Tonight was really nice. :) Tea was wonderful, of course, and much good conversation was had. I didn't really do much today up until that, really, but I'm OK with that. I've been thinking a lot. I went to the dentist today, and took the long way home. It was wonderful. My dentist is at Talbot and Oxford, I walked through Gibbons Park and stopped for a little while to work on some lyrics. I never realized it before but that park is a holy place to me. The Montessori school there used to be the UU Fellowship I went to when I was a little kid ( Read more... )

Breaking into my own house because I left my keys at home & my dad forgot to leave a key in the mailbox: awesomer.

Last night's show was a lot of fun. I'm getting much more comfortable fronting the band & having a microphone that picks up everything I say. It's a big change from what I'm used to, but I enjoy it.
