Since just about everyone else has heard about it, I decided to tell my friendslist about the squirrel.
Yesterday on the way home from school, I was driving down Cottage Grove, meditating about life, and, if I recall correctly, being a cwankypants. (haha Catherine) And then, like an angel from God (this is an exaggeration; it really did not resemble an angel at all) I saw this squirrel. At first it was just hanging out, being a tall squirrel or whatever. But then all of a sudden, it DUCKED. Like, lightening fast. And I swear he put his paws over his head, like a tornado drill.
Why, the reader may ask, is this such a momentous occasion, worthy enough to grace one of my now-rare livejoural entries? It is because of the following reasons:
a. It was really funny.
b. The fact that this squirrel's actions resembled a tornado drill, there is reasonable cause to believe that this squirrel may be more than it appears, namely, a weather predictor. Most likely it was experiencing a premonition of a tornado in the future, although it could be any natural disaster. Which is where the awesomeness come--either a natural disaster does come, and I happily real;ize that I had a truly supernatural experience. Or, a natural disaster doesn't occur, and then I will happily enjoy the safe and beautiful weather.
And so I'm happy.
