a. I had the BEST Christmas break ever. I'll bet you anything mine was better than yours. I didn't do anything. I just spent two weeks....being myself again, I guess. No friends, just my family. And I was so happy

Wow, I've never even heard of it. I went to their website and it looks like a really nice school full of happy people who love learning. The problem is they all look so good on the website, so I'm having trouble deciding which ones I should seriously consider. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll put Macalester on my list of 50 schools I'll look into. :-)
If you can say a bit about what kinds of things are most important to you in a school, I might be able to help you a little.
Things to think about:
What kinds of grades and test scores you have What kinds of classes interest you What potential careers you're thinking about Whether you like big or small classes Whether you'd prefer city, suburban, or rural locations What kind of extracurriculars you'd like to participate (Is there a sport you really like? Do you want to be able to sing?) How close to home do you want to be?
I really have no set preferences about anything. They change all the time. I'll try to tell you which way I'm leaning, but I don't know how helpful it will be

Pomona is an excellent school. It's on the small side but is connected to a group of colleges so you will have the opportunity to meet people from the other Claremonts.
Off the top of my head, I can recommend three good Catholic schools on the east coast.
I have a number of friends who went to Villanova in Pennsylvania. I'm not sure, location-wise, if it would appeal to you, I've not been there. Le Moyne College is a small Jesuit college in Syracuse, NY, where my parents went. My cousin went to St. Joseph's in Philadelphia, which is al all girls' catholic college, if that appeals to you.
All of them have strong liberal arts programs that would let you study a wide variety of things. I'll keep thinking.

Aaahhh I'm having trouble deciding on colleges as well. I'd love to go to like, NYU or Northwestern....but aahh so expensive/hard to get into! Haha.
University of Chicago sounds really cool. I was talking to some seniors about it and their application consists of the weirdest/coolest/most creative essay prompts ever, like, "Write about Wednesday," and, "If you saw a giant bottle of mustard, what would you do?" Snazzy.

I have twenty buckets of confidence that you can get into any school you want to. I mean, with that icon, how can you not? It's like written in the stars.
Have the seniors who applied got in? I don't think anyone at STM has even tried...they all apply to the same schools. A girl went to San Diego or something last year. It was wild.

As for where you should go to college... how about wherever I go to college so we can see each other all the time and do cute college things together?
