Lets not chalk it up to his being an incredible pilot, or for the incredible foresite and great training on behalf of the flight crew... or for that matter the speed at which surrounding boats aided the rescue... nope
its a miracle...

I think, though, it's symptom of the times we live in to cheapen anyone's skills. It's a longer conversation than I'm ready for pre coffee and certainly not here for a peanut gallery that will most certainly prove my point.

I just wanted to say thank you. Everyone in our family is very proud of our cousin and what he did. While my (very religious) mother has talked about the timing, God-given skill, and so forth... even she doesn't want to take away from or diminish CB's acts of valor that day. It's not so much about his amazing landing in the water, but that he made every effort (twice!) to ensure that every single person was off that plane, alive.
I'm sure I could say quite a bit more, but how about I just cheapen it lightly with some words from my mother? ;) "He was raised right." :D
