As I recall, you were pretty convinced that they wanted to get rid of you last year also. Not that that's a reason to stay.

Yes, water is a pretty good absorber of 2.4 Ghz signals. The current theory in our house is that the crates of steel tools in my room (not to mention the oven) are blocking the signal to our back room.

i eat ice cream instead of killing people. benben gave me the idea. he used to eat ben&jerry's when he'd had a rough week when he was growing up. i thought i'd found all the flavours and figured out my favourites already...but my roommate found a new store with promising new flavours for us to try. doublin cream, or something, was yesterday's. it was pretty good, for having coffee flavour in it. phish food is also pretty good.

we ate it while watching october sky which is good, but squishy...um...you know, [waves hands] squishy emotional at times. there's a book. you could read it. don't tell me where you're putting it on your reading list if it's a bad place--then i don't want to know.

I saw the movie when it came out. My mother read the book; I don't recall now whether I did also.
