I can't say I agree with you or disagree with you. I see the rally round the flag as a way for people that have nothing in common to stand by. The united states is a huge melting pot and when the u.s. is attacked the only thing we have in common is that we are americans. The flag represents that. I respect the U.S. flag for that reason, but I respect almost all flags in that way. Just my thoughts on the subject.

I can see your opinion on the matter. I just think it's ridiculous that it takes such a huge tragedy for us to actually work together as a nation.

It disturbs me, and i think it is morbid.

Yeah, death is the main motivating factor for almost everything in this world. They don't put up a stop light until three or four people die in car accidents. To bad there isn't a right or wrong anymore... it's all just shades of grey and we got to figure out where we are at.
