but I don't have an LJ of my own. I have to, I guess? A meme, by the way, is a thought, concept or idea that spreads itself---the word comes from a model of communication that makes an analogy with genes and the way they spread themselves. The theory gets really complicated and interesting---memes evolve, compete and cooperate, and sometimes are dangerous to their host or to others. Most religious people really abhor memetics (the theory) , because it likens their belief to, basically, a virus. But it's an enlightening way of looking at things. http://www.lucifer.com/virus/memlex.html
Your poetry is so darkly beautiful . . . I miss your handwriting, the cool slanted one that I think you called your scrawl. Good Goethe quote, by the way (figured I'd just comment on a bunch of things all in one comment.)

Thanks Jonathan. If you ever do get a journal of you're own (You'll have to get one from someone else who has it, but hasn't given away their password) then I'd love to add you.
Thanks for the talk on Memes. ^_^ Have a good day, and stay out of trouble!!
