I have decided that Youtube exists as proof that the world hates any nation with the words United, States, and America in it's name and anyone who can check American for nationality

Just venting. I am reminded of a little scene from Mass Effect that goes something like this.

Shepard: Humanity has had to fight for everything we've been given.
Turian C-Sec: Good! Then fight for it but don't expect everyone else to just let you take it!

Except that most people on Youtube are ignorant. Not stupid, but ignorant.

I do love the Fulcrum (and the Flanker), but one has to have an active imagination to proclaim that the MiG-29 is superior to the F-16CJ. At best it is equal as a machine, but we train like Hell. Besides, Russia and the U. S. are not going to fight each other. It is more likely our pilots will fly with Russian pilots against states flying Russian equipment (or, these days even American made fighters or copies of them [cough cough China cough cough]).

Ah, but see... you can buy a MiG on ebay. Try getting your hands on a retired F-16!

Hell, a while back there was an aircraft carrier on the open market, too. I love me some Russian military surplus.

Then that tells you how good the Falcon is. No one wants to sell it. (But if you had a couple of million and were an allied nation...)

Actually, I think it's because our military has an obscene amount of money to play with. They don't need the funds that would be generated from the sale.

Also, when we sell a plane to a nation, we don't dumb it down like Russia used to.
