Well in probably one of the most coolest (if you are a Democrat like me...) 2-2 ever, I drove my mother and sister to go see President Bill Clinton today speak at UOP (University of the Pacific) in Stockton, California.  I have several very close-up shots of the President and I got to shake his hand and thank him for his service to our country.  As ( Read more... )

...my favorite comment is (and I hope I quote her right):

"If this elections tells us anything, it is that we should go home, look at our children and grandchildren; our sons and daughters and tell them... you can be anything you want!"

I don't know about you, but as a Father of three children; a son (16 months old) and two wonderful daughters (15 years and 18 years old) I want my children to know that they can be anything they want to be.

Hillary may not be perfect, but I sincerely believe that she is the best person for the job. And believe me... I have done my homework.

Out of curiosity, what particulars bring you to support Clinton over Obama? While I'd be fine with either of them, I'm slightly favoring Obama due to a strong dislike for a few stances that Clinton has taken since becoming a senator.

Of course, I more aligned with libertarian ideals (but not so much with the party) than with some aspects of the average Democrat platform, but as a free-rights atheist the Democratic party is hugely superior to the other electable option.

Obama does have some Foreign policy experience. He did go to Kenya in an attempt to help negotiate peace. This mission failed.

Also, Obama's tribe in Kenya is one of the ones currently involved in the ethnic infighting.

I say, don't vote. It's a waste of time. Republican, Democrat. There both pushing the same agenda. Almost everyone running for president is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations (look up the C.F.R. if you don't know who they are). Republican and Democrats are there to give you the illusion that you have freedom of choice.

Here's a partial list of politicians who are/were members:
Michael Bloomberg
Dick Cheney
Jimmy Carter
John Edwards
Hillary Clinton
Barak Obama
Joseph Biden
Rudy Giuliani
Warren Christopher
Bill Clinton
Christopher Dodd
Robert Gates
Newt Gingrich
Chuck Hagel
Jesse Jackson
Henry Kissinger
Joseph Lieberman
John McCain
David Petraeus
Colin Powell
Condoleezza Rice
Bill Richardson
Fred Thompson
Paul Wolfowitz
George H. W. Bush
Herbert Hoover
Richard Nixon

and the list goes on and on.
