What an uplifting holiday flick :) I do like Johnny Depp; besides the fact he is insanely hot and very intelligent, I like his sometimes oddball choices. Definitely like him best in period pieces. Not so crazy about the blood splurting and pie-baking; eeeewww. It also has the actor Shila likes from Die Hard; can't remember his name.....

Though I like Johnny Depp and enjoyed his performances in Pirates & Neverland, this movie doesn't look like my cup-of-tea. I'm sure he'll do an excellent job in it. It also doesn't look like a film I'd care to see around the holiday, lol. I need to see cheerful things!

I'm geeked! If you have never seen the old black and white version dig it up it is an enjoyable flick. I am a fan of both Depp and Burton but it has nothing to do with hotness... really.

I have to agree though, it doesn't really scream out Happy Holidays.
